Weekly Highlights
Highlight from this weeks articles, conversation and creative inspirations from Rosie Lee and our community. Opening the lid on topics, news and inspirations that affect our thinking and our work.
Firs off…sorry for anyone who received next week’s article on email, we got it. abit wrong (consider it a sneak peek - apologies for that!).
This week has been a week of new beginnings, while some of our projects have drawn to a close, other ones have just started bringing a fresh energy into our days. We have finished editing our conversation with Jessie Zapo and are planning our next recording with Algy Batten, a work, running, ping pong and generally all round friend.
Keep an eye out for next week’s content we’re about to start highlighting more of the people we are fortunate enough to know and work with via a new ‘friends’ series.
Otherwise, keep on trucking and enjoy the weekend.
Russell and Mark.

Case Study: Timberland Global - Retail Campaign
Rosie Lee Creative
Rosie Lee created spatial designs for Timberland’s Fall 24 ICONIC campaign, now in stores, highlighting the Original Yellow Boot. The campaign, featuring Naomi Campbell, Kai Isaiah Jamal, Teddy Swims and Slawn, focuses on legacy and self-expression. The black-and-white aesthetic emphasises the timeless appeal of the Yellow Boot.
Experiment: Objects of the Trail.
Against Time
This collection celebrates the harmony between human ingenuity and nature. Hiking gear's sturdy design is transformed into art, highlighting the endurance and beauty of natural landscapes. Clean lines of technical fabrics symbolise exploration, while sculptures from recycled tents embody sustainability.
Inspirations
Tekken x Gentle Monster
It’s been over 20 years since Russell and I first crossed paths working on a Tekken King of Iron Fist Tournament project, so seeing this collab hit the streets is pretty wild. The packaging is just as sharp—housed in a case modelled after Kazuya’s red gloves and packed with a gym sack.
Senet Magazine
A couple of weeks ago, I ran one of my Purpose Workshops. The founder of the company I was working with often gives magazines and books to everyone when they get together, and this time round he included me. Knowing I enjoy strategy tabletop games, he gave me a copy of Senet Magazine.
Aphex Twin's Selected Ambient Works Volume II 30th Anniversary
Marking the 30th anniversary of the legendary album, Aphex Twin has just released Selected Ambient Works Volume II (Expanded Edition), featuring a handful of previously unreleased tracks.
If you have any inspirations that you’d like featured on UB, then please share them with us.

Work with us
The work of Rosie Lee Digital spans many different scales and industries. They are just as happy collaborating with Rosie Lee Creative on a global brand as they are curating an artists portfolio website. They have some capacity in November and December so get in touch if you have any digital projects you’d like to talk about (tell them you came from Unorthodox Blend and we’ll sort you out extra support from Mark and Russell).
