Rapha announce the launch of the Patta Cycling Team

Our friends at Patta and Rapha have unveiled their partnership aimed at increasing representation within cycling's traditionally homogeneous community.

The collaboration's centrepiece is the Patta Cycling Team an Amsterdam-based amateur cycling squad determined to increase diversity in a sport that has long struggled with inclusivity issues.

The uniform features a cartoon gecko logo designed by Patta's Creative Director Vincent van de Waal, chosen to represent speed and style.

Cultural identity remains central to the design. The team's "one more road to cross" slogan appears in Sranan Tongo (the creole language of Suriname), while co-branded lettering decorates the skin-tight cycling tops, shorts, caps and socks. A pumping fist graphic symbolises Black inclusivity in the sport.
