One of my favourite artists, Cj Hendry, is as much known for her fun, innovative exhibition setups as her insanely hyperrealistic drawings. She’s staged shows in giant soft-play castles with ball pits and even inflatable swimming pools in the desert. For her latest collection, she’s launched a flower market on Roosevelt Island in New York.
Partnering with beauty brand Clé de Peau Beauté and the Four Freedoms Park Conservancy, Flower Market is set in a 120-foot-long greenhouse on the lawn of the FDR Four Freedoms State Park.
Unfortunately, after just one day, the massive floral installation was shut down due to overcrowding, and it had to be moved to an Industry City warehouse for its final day.
Classic Cj—always pushing boundaries and drawing crowds wherever she goes.
