I was lucky enough to be invited by my good friend and long-time collaborator Drieke Leenknegt (Global CMO of Vans) to the OTW by Vans Checkered Future: Sacré-Cœur event, and it was also amazing to see so many other friends and collaborators in attendance. Perched on the picturesque hill of Montmartre, the installation was a striking tribute to both Go Skateboarding Day and Fête de la Musique.
The live skate exhibition by Vans Team Athletes, including Efron Danzig, who admitted, "I'm kind of terrified," before taking on the skate bowl, added an electrifying energy to the event. Skating at the foot of the iconic Sacré-Cœur, a place she had skated near but never in this artistic context, made it truly special. The installation, crafted by PLAYLAB, INC and California Skateparks, beautifully blended the gritty energy of skate culture with the historic charm of Paris, creating an unforgettable celebration of creativity, culture, and community.

Plus I got the see Justice and Kaytranda which was epically loud!
