One of my total favourites, from the world of Studio Ghibli
Designed by Goro Miyazaki, son of the legendary Hayao Miyazaki, this board game is more than just a fun activity—it’s a work of art. The game doubles as a beautifully illustrated poster, perfectly capturing Ghibli’s signature charm and style. He reimagined the official Ghibli Park promotional poster into a playful game board, blending practical details like the park’s website, QR code, and a ticket reservation reminder with stunning artwork and interactive fun.
The game itself is a sugoroku, a classic Japanese dice game. Players roll the die, move their pieces along the board, and follow directions as they journey towards the Totoro at the centre. It’s a delightful way to bring the magic of Ghibli into your home.
It’s a brilliant way to enjoy a little slice of Ghibli Park, one day ill make it there
